New Job

Next year I have taken a new position with Jessamine Co. Schools, I will be the Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. In 1994, I went to college to be that and now, the position is finally open and I'm taking it. I was VERY nervous at first. I've not used sign language in 12 years, I haven't seen an auditory trainer in that long either....do you know how technology has changed in 12 years???? Well, I had my first meeting for my new job last Friday and the child's parents are deaf.....so I had to use sign language and I felt really good about my skills.....I guess it's like riding a bike, once you know it, you don't forget it!

Where did this house come from????

As many of you know, Santa brought Rhett a 4-wheeler for Christmas...since the weather has been pretty, we've been spending more time outside! YEAH!!!
Here's a little footage of our 4-wheelin' fool...watch 'til the end

"Hey where did that house come from??"

Can you believe it....my baby is ONE

Sidney Shea's favorite thing is her pink pony, so it only seemed appropriate to have a pink pony party.....not a winter creek party!
My how time has flown...Sidney Shea is not only 1, but she is a walker, a climber, and four-wheeler rider... she is Rhett's girl, she has 6 teeth, she likes to show you her tonsils and she can tell you she is ONE and show you how to blow out candles! Thank goodness she can't pick out her own clothes and she doesn't care what her hair looks like.....YET!

What's happening??

Rhett's taking swim lessons....
patiently waiting his turn.....

80's day at school

Grand-Dog has a birthday....we celebrated by going to the Habachi bar and Rhett loved the excitement! He even caught the shrimp that the chief threw up for him to catch! Then we came home and had Dad and Rob's favorite, butter-scotch pie!
