Saturday Fun

The weather was so great Saturday that we needed to get out! Lucky for us, Sarah and Ivy called and they were headed to the park. Jamie and her family also joined in on the park fun! So we all packed a lunch and had a picnic at the park. Rhett and Boston played and Sidney Shea was entertained by all the girls that wanted to see her; Olivia, Ivy and Palmer. They all made her grin! ( I had my camera in my bag, just forgot to get a snapshot)

When we got back home a few hours later, Sidney Shea just hung out and figured out how to suck her fingers.

Rhett man's "big" pool had a hole in it so Daddy brought home this new one! There is sooo much more space. He spent the rest of the afternoon swimming!

Of course, we had to take a break away from the pool for TWO special treats! Grand-dog stopped in on his bike for a visit. While he was here, the ice cream truck drove by our house. Nothing like a cool treat on a hot day!

ZOOrrific!!!

During Spring Break, Sarah and I decided that on Election day we would take the kiddos to the Zoo. Well, we didn't plan on a rainy forecast for the day. So after much thought we decided to go anyways. We borrowed Whitney's double side-by-side stroller and loaded up in the van and headed out for the Louisville Zoo! The day couldn't have been much more perfect (a little sunshine would have been nice, but then again I'm not pregnant) no crowds, a cool day and ALL the animals were out!

We had sooo much fun. Can't wait to take Rhett back in the summer and let him play in the water park...when you see all these great pictures, let me know if you want to join us!

Rhett just wanted the Elephants to spray water on him! And ME!!

Here is a few up close and personal photos of the animals...Hey look at that
Monkey in the middle!

This is proof that Greg really isn't taking the ketchup packets home with him...Sarah does eat that much ketchup
OK, look at our sweet babies. Right before we look this picture, Sarah yelled (very loudly)
"Look at your Mommies"
so in case you could hear her, let me assure you, we both are married... to MEN!

OK, Jamie...It doesn't really look that big, but trust me, after my morning workouts, Juillian would be proud of the BURN that I had pushing these two munchkins up the yellow "brick" road!

Look a RHINO! ( and I don't mean me)

A ride on the carousel...can't this horse go any faster?

At the end of a very long, fun-filled day...still BEST FRIENDS!!

An Afternoon with friends!

Sidney Shea and Weston played so hard that just look what happened to them.....skip to pictures below!

Rhett and Bennett having fun in the sun!

Then onto painting on the deck! Isn't Rhett's smile great when he says "cheeeeeessssssee"

Look twice...that's Weston under the frog pillow in Rhett's bed.

then, sound asleep Sidney Shea went ...playing with friends is soooo exhausting!

LOOK they are finally RIPE!!!!!

The other evening, I was fixing supper and Rhett was outside playing and Sidney Shea was in bed. All of a sudden, Rhett was banging on the door and screaming at the top of his lungs MOMMA!!! He just kept banging and screaming. I was so afraid he was going to wake his sister up and I was just about to fuss at him when I turned the corner and this is what he was soooo excitied about!

Yes, straight from the Amburgey's garden...ripe strawberries! He was so excited to show me that they had finally turned red! So each night we've been picking strawberries...but as you can see by the bowl, not very many make it into the house.

What a GREAT Saturday!!!

On Saturday, the kiddos and I went the the StockDog trials and the Fiber Fest. Here are a few of our favorite things that we saw....
LOOK! We even saw one of Rhett's favorite people....CASEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was convinced that the one looking at him was his.

Mother's Day

I know everyone is waiting to see a great picture of me with my precious babies. Well, keep waiting! Today, Rhett stayed outside and was afraid to hold still for one second. For fear of falling asleep or missing something. Sidney Shea on the other hand, slept the entire afternoon. The only baby that I had my picture with isn't much of a baby anymore.

Can you believe your eyes???

#1 Ann Marie not in ball clothes.
#2 Austin not in Wranglers
#3 Ann Marie wearing high heels...she can walk in them
(not gracefully!!)
#4 She is old enough to go to prom
and last but not least
#5 I didn't cry until I went to bed that night!!!

To everyone out there who has kiddos...It seems like yesterday A-Ree was the size of Sidney Shea and now look, but don't blink because it goes by SOOOOOOOO quickly!

Isn't she beautiful??!!!

3 More months and then........

It's time for NFL football!!!
You can never be ready too early.

Who Dey! Who Dey!

Here are pictures of some flooding from Main Street and one side street this afternoon. We've gotten 6 inches...maybe more. Today, before church was out the Mayor and Judge Executive had called Rob and he opened up his office for a nursing home to move patients into and for a retirement home to move into. There were about 100 people camping out this afternoon. This evening (Sun.) the nursing home folks are spending the night in his office. I sure hope we have school tomorrow and no, "flood" day!

It's raining, It's pouring, Rhett man is........

Rain or Shine you'll find "Rhett Man" Outside!!!!!
A day at the Races. What a great day for the Oaks!
Rob and I were invited to spend the day with the RJ Corman group in his suite for a fun day at the race track. The only thing missing....Aunt Vicki (boy did I miss her this year!!!)

RUN for the Lillies

Never fear...I'll be back at work Monday! No big wins for us!

Here's what's up with us....

Another pretty day sent Rhett and I outdoors to play!
Thanks to Mr. Charlie, his creekbed, a few rocks and a great pair of boots
Rhett and I spent several hours on Sunday wading across the creek, throwing rocks and picking up moss.
*Daddy and Sidney Shea stayed home..she napped and Daddy worked on the boat...maybe we'll be out on the lake soon!

Sidney Shea is growing sooo fast! She now can turn over and is trying to cut two bottom teeth so now all our pictures of her have her hands in her mouth. She is giggling LOTS at big brother Rhett who, by the way calls her "Little Bit"

We've also had some rainy days....rainy days means friends come over to play! Look at the fun we've had.

Rhett and Bennett

Hayley and Rhett

BRING ON SUMMER!!!!

We've had a few days in a row where the weather was just down right HOT!!!
Rhett and I cleaned the patio furniture one day and after he was soakin' wet from playing in the water hose...we decided that 83 degrees was warm enough for the pool!
He swam that day for 6 hours!!! I had one tired boy.
